Munira Nagji: Founder Munira has been working towards building a better world for her children, for all children, for decades. From creating Montessori classrooms locally and globally, to providing safer living conditions for those marginalized, Munira has worked tirelessly to create and sustain conditions for mutual care and support, kindness and love. In 2010, after multiple nominations, Munira received the YMCA Peace Medal award in recognition of her expansive humanitarian work.
Rahim Kanji: Rahim has extensive experience in both the private and public sector performing various financial roles. Currently, Rahim is Chief Financial Officer of High Tide Inc., a public company listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange. He is responsible for leading the financial function at High Tide Inc. Rahim brings with him over 15 years of finance experience. Before High Tide Inc., Rahim was the Chief Operating Officer at Kudos Inc. Before Kudos, Rahim was Controller at Solium Capital, a Calgary based software as a service company, specializing in equity plans administration. Rahim is a Chartered Professional Accountant, holds an MBA from Ivey Business School – Western University, and a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Alberta.
Anil Ramji: Anil has an extensive background in Financial Accounting and was working in the Provincial Government for 22 years. He subsequently started his own business and was a Franchisee of several fast food franchises. He is now retired. Anil devotes his time getting involved in various non-profit organizations such as Drive Happiness and assisting in preparing grant proposals to secure funding for a range of seniors’ initiatives.
